Terminal-Block Integrated Shells
Motor housings with factory-installed terminal blocks, junction boxes, or connector panels — eliminating separate enclosure mounting and reducing field wiring labour. Designed for industrial drives, HVAC, and pump applications where rapid electrical connection and maintenance access are required.
Terminal blocks are mounted directly to the housing shell during assembly, with internal wiring pre-routed to the motor leads. This eliminates the need for separate junction boxes on the equipment frame.
Junction areas are gasketed and sealed against dust and moisture ingress. IP55, IP65, and IP66 ratings are available depending on the application environment.
Support for screw-clamp, spring-cage, or push-in terminals. Terminal counts from 3 to 12 poles, with options for grounding terminals and neutral bars.

Engineering & installation advantages
- Reduced field labour: Terminal blocks are pre-mounted and internally wired at the factory, minimising on-site electrical work.
- Space saving: Eliminates separate junction boxes mounted on equipment frames, reducing overall footprint.
- Service accessibility: Junction covers are positioned for easy access during inspection, maintenance, or re-termination.
- Custom layouts: Terminal positions, entry angles, and cover orientations can be tailored to match customer wiring harnesses.
Quality & supply chain
- First-pass yield > 98 % on terminal positioning and electrical continuity (Cpk ≥ 1.67).
- Dielectric strength tested at 1500 V AC for 1 minute per IEC 60034.
- Material certificates EN 10204 3.1 and dimensional inspection report per batch.
- Lead time: 18–22 working days for standard configurations; 28–35 days for custom terminal layouts or special ingress ratings.
- PPAP level 3 available for automotive and high-reliability applications.
Application fields
- Industrial motors: Pumps, compressors, fans, and conveyors — where quick electrical connection and maintenance access reduce downtime.
- HVAC systems: Air handling units, chillers, and rooftop equipment — where space constraints favour integrated junction solutions.
- Water and wastewater: Submersible and vertical motors requiring sealed junction compartments for moisture protection.
- Material handling: Overhead cranes, hoists, and automated guided vehicles — where cable management and rapid termination are critical.
For custom terminal configurations, Yufeng provides electrical schematic review, terminal layout drawings, and sample wiring verification prior to production.
Engineering supportFrequently asked questions
We offer screw-clamp terminals (standard), spring-cage terminals for vibration resistance, and push-in terminals for rapid wiring. All are rated for continuous operation at the motor's full load current.
Yes. Cover entry angles (top, side, or bottom) and opening directions can be tailored to match cable entry routes in your equipment. We provide dimensional drawings for approval.
Standard configurations are IP55 (dust-protected and water-jet resistant). IP65 (dust-tight and low-pressure water-jet) and IP66 (dust-tight and high-pressure water-jet) are available for harsh environments.
Yes. We pre-wire the terminal blocks to the motor leads at the factory, with colour-coded insulation and crimped terminals. This reduces field wiring time and eliminates potential connection errors.
Each unit undergoes dielectric strength testing (1500 V AC for 1 minute), insulation resistance testing (≥ 50 MΩ at 500 V DC), and continuity verification for all terminal connections.
